Peter Linden Jones BA

Peter served in the British Police service for 32 years, serving with Cheshire Constabulary in operations and Criminal Investigation from the rank of Constable to the rank of Acting Assistant Chief Constable.

He served as a Divisional Commander and for a time was Staff Officer to Her Majesties Inspector of Constabulary.

In 1995 he was appointed Assistant Chief Constable with Hampshire Constabulary, ultimately taking responsibility for all support services. He served with the inter-services Security Committee (Army, Navy and Air Force.)


He was responsible for the UK police strategy to deal with criminal and terrorist threats from the use of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear agents.

Since leaving the police service he has worked as a consultant for the European Commission regarding assistance to Albania in the fields of incident management and organized crime. He has lectured to senior police officers in Muscat, Oman on the subject of organized and major crime investigation. He has worked in Seattle in a contract arbitration case. He is an associate lecturer at the British Police Staff College.

Peter holds a BA in Politics and Sociology, attended the Senior Command Course and has attended the FBI National Academy at Quantico.
